We would sit outside on summer evenings and just take in the wonderful smells coming from her roses that were everywhere out side (strung up with old nylons because we couldnt' let them go to waste and they were better for the roses she claimed) Every couple of years she would get a can of rustoleum and paint those chairs and we couldnt' sit in them for a few days, it was so hard not to sit on them. Once I did before it was time and I ruined a beautiful pair of gingham kolats and I cried and cried. Thank you so much for bringing back these memories through your memories. Now I only wonder where those old chairs went. |
